i think that the post limit should be more than 10 i see to many people requesting for another forum with like 12 posts etc i dunno what this should be raised to but does anyone agree or disagree

well ive seen it on other forums and it has been done. i just think its too easy it should be a little more strict. i feel its just rude that u could register then just ask for a sig and then thats the last you see of them lol

well thats the good thing about this site is that signatures are made for FREE..ive seen on other sites that they actually charge for sigs, the highest price ive seen was $20

Well 2 extra posts added on is hardly gonna make a difference.

For some people 10 posts are hard enough already

I think there is an ongoing discussion in the following thread
http://www.signaturebar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8782

As in the other post, I agree that a minimum point requirement should be instated since it is not exactly hard to generate the points required when the posts consists of more than one word or sentence.

I think 10-20 points would work, I can easily type up something worth 2-3 points, but on average my posts generate about 1 point per post.

Cheers ^__^

Yes, weve had this discussion a number of times, as its an ongoing problem.
I think whats already been said goes the same for my thoughts.
If we up the posts required, we could be letting ourself in for more spam and pointless posts.
However, we will soon be moving to v-bulletin, which means we can then control the forum so much better. The request section could be locked untill the 10 posts have been achieved.
Amongst other things to stop this happening as much :)

But thank you very much for your feedback.

Every suggestion is always taken into account.

There will be a variety of new options i presume :)

Tradedemon is in the process of working on the move, but he's away on business at the mo.
We have no specific date yet, but we can assure you that it is deffinately being done.

I can't say much as I'm new here and don't make sigs, but I agree it is rude to just get a sig then leave. I didn't actually request a sig, bingobango asked me to request one lol, and I was already on 25 posts. It can be offensive to signature artists if someone just gets a sig done at 10 posts and then leaves.

Moving to vbulletin is a wise choice in my opinion, you have a lot of control over your forum, and as stated before, you can lock certain topics until people get the correct requirements for a request. Well good luck with moving the site, have you got any idea approximately how long it will be until we move to vbulletin?
