Advertising

There has been some misunderstandings recently in regards to advertising and the posting of URL links in a post or in your sig space.

Signaturebar and every other site wants and needs as many visitors as possible, and therefore want to be the only site people visit. So posting of URL links advertising other sites means competition for Sigbar and that is not what we want. Its like going into Mcdonalds and putting up Subway posters...

So to clear this up, im not just talking about other GFX forums. So if you want to post a link to your site, a site you visit regularly or any link, PM a staff member to check if its ok, and the staff will let you know if you can post it.

Btw, Ill be helping to advertise this site, I have the link in my sig on gaming websites and other website I go on, and Also in my steam profile and I tell people about this site.
And is it ok if I make a Signature Bar steam group and invite ppl to help advertise too? Ill make people here that have steam admins of the group.

Feel free to advertise as much as you want.. and I think we're going to come up with some new rules about links in peoples signatures. We'll keep you posted.

Well ,there should be some limitations to advertising, going in another forum like :"Hey ya'll, check out this site for best signatures ,WOOOOOO!!!" or something ,haha. ;)
Kind of leaves a pretty bad image of this place, so try to keep yourself decent.;O
