After about 7 hours of work... My first ever sigs...

The black one took the longest, it has a few things wrong but I was way to tired to even try and figure out how to fix em. The yellow one was reletively quick but it gave me an idea for the black one, (I didn't even end up using the idea on the black one... how cool? =P)

So share your thoughts, give me tips, what ever. <_>WeWt!!1 CloWn is making sigs!

rofl, I dunno how to add borders! Geez cummon! The top one was gunna be good, but then the text clashed it's self, I tried to figure it out, then the 'rin' effect started goin nuts, I fixed that by deleting the first 5! layers, that took me ages to make.

It did flash the letters and then the full word. So it was goin like this.

I was like sweet that works! Then as I payed a lil more attention I realised that I spealed Strapz, Stapz. /wrists <=| I tried fixing it but that's when the text started clashing, everything was going wrong and I didn't wanna break it too much...

They're all pretty shocking, but I don't have the know how or the patients to make em good atm, =P

How do you add a border?

to add a border..go to script fu....decor....then add border....put 1pixel in both boxes :D

lol u'll get the hang of things i'm sure............ :)

when u add border through script_fu, the size ur canvas will increase....... (it'll increase by 2 pixels for every 1 pexel of border)......... so i always take (-2) pixel as by background..........

implies...... if i want 400*150 canvas.......... i choose 398*148 pixel as my background...........

Thanks noobie, as I said, if I was even just a little more knowlaged on how to fix some of the stuff that went wrong they would have been so much better, I was spewin. The black one was lookin really good at one stage then I got greedy. <=|

Ahhh, I watched a tut, and I remember hearing script fu, so I went there but I didn't go to decor. Can only learn through mistakes. =P

I'll try and make a few tomorow, I'll watch some more tuts and learn how to use effects a bit better, make backgrounds and stuff... Don't worry noobie, we will make a sig artist out of me yet! =D

Youre up to a great start though, especially with doing the animated ones, im rubbish with animation :(

The main word of advice I have for anyone, ANYONE making a rather large animated sig, DO NOT MERGE DOWN UNTIL YOU'RE DAMN SURE YOU WANT TO MERGE DOWN. So much stuff went wrong and I didn't know how to un merge them <=| Is there a way?

Theres no way to unmerge...apart from ctrl and z....which undo's the last steps you made
