Akhtar's work - was all pre-made brushes overlayed onto a pic - no work went into them, they are not true vector pictures lol

and more importantly

b) no need to put his or anyone elses work down like that, it still would of taken effort and skill!!!

Actually i know akhtar personally and he put a lot of effort into his wok. more precisely they were still unique and good enough to be bought by a t-shirt company, he sold 2 designs for $500.

Although its not alot fo money for a then 16 year old thats not bad to be honest. But I agree with diesel constructive criticism is fine but please dont put other peoples work down as everyone is at a different skill level.

Xile: You may not mean it but your post just sounds like you know everything. Its probably true to say you're one of the better designers here and you probably know quite abit too, but to be honest there is no need to laugh at others work or put them down like that..

Anyone can design a T-Shirt using Vector brushes ; if he was actually making TRUE VECTORISED images, I would have given him due credit mate.

As for me knowing everything, no - I just know a hell of a lot about graphics, arrogant you might think, to me - its just confidence!!!

Everyone is welcome to comment and be a critic just remember we are not "Designers" in the whole word we are newbs or just art hobbiest dont be so hard on us...

I think thats pretty much the complain. Dont kick us on the floor instead
give us advice or point us the way to go if you dont want to loose your time writing, just some link could be helpfull i guess.

We are not trying to steal your knowledge or job we just want to learn and give something back if we can.

hello everyone, havnt been here in ages, glad to see this place thriving.

My artwork is made in photoshop and not illustrator, but it is still vector as I used the vector tools in photoshop.
I did not use any brushes though MrXile, :?

Anyway, thanks for all the comments everyone, I'll put up some more recent work now.

Dude all the pictues are really awesome.Especially the second one was really good.nice usage of the dark texture.The colours in the last one is really refreshing :lol: :lol:
