Hi, when I save a gif into my comp and I want to open it up in image ready to see all the slides, it says I have to save it to rgb mode.. what is that?

Or is there any other way for me to see all animated slides for a saved gif?

Thanks.

how are you opening and/or saving them?

every time I openned a GIF it would have all the layers and frames.... :)

I just right click the image and save it, then open it up in PS and this happens... weird, I know. :?

This may be wrong but when you started creating the file in photoshop did you use another setting other than this.

May have something to do with the file type in which you created the slides, see below

RGB Mode=Red Green Blue Mode

It shouldn't be opened as New though, it should just be open because I'm not creating or making a file. It's already there. Thank you for trying though.

No, you can't see all the frames of a gif when opening is photoshop, but you can see them in ImageReady.

this is true for older versions of photoshop that came with the program imageready, but cs3 and above didn't come with imageready and can now animate the gifs on its own :)

Even in imageready it won't open because the same thing of "RBG" appears.

Thanks though.
