Who enjoyed this movie? I loved this movie, in fact right now this is my favorite movie as of right now. The part when Sam dies is the most heartbreaking part of that movie. Sorry about not posting spoilers alert, my bad. I figured whoever had seen the movie would click on this. Anyways, I throughly enjoyed Will Smith's acting as well. He is my favorite actor. I can't believe how well he portrayed being the last man on Earth. I think He played the role unbelievably realisticly. I was moved by his performance and this is my favorite movie as of now.

Yeah have to admit the film was good, quite refreshing, though I think it ends a bit abruptly though, maybe could have been better if it continued and you saw some of the people who were infected getting better.

The ending could have been better and they could have done so much more with this movie.

Overall it wasn't bad. The alternate ending on the DVD was also good, but they could of still did more to it.

i never saw the alternate ending. see i think a lot of people didnt like the reg ending (not necessarily on this forum) bcus they dont understand it completely. u see, will smith had to die bcus the only reason the zombie-mutants knew he was there in the first place was because they had the scent of his blood. so if he would have also crawled into the shelter and left the grenade outside, the mutant zombies in there would have died, but more would have come later.

I found the movie somewhat sad but also kinda scary ( i get freaked out easily) when the zombies and zombie dogs were about to kill him but the movie was pretty good but i have never read the book

I found the movie fairly riveting. It kept me on my seat the whole time, and the conclusion really left you satisfied. I had to watch the Alternate Ending on YouTube, but I think the original outdid it by far.

*My opinion* - the best part is when he drives that hot car at the begining .. and from his driving u can see that there are no rullz to respect and he could do anything he wants to (except spending time in dark places :o )

Yea the ending should have been done differently. I still say, that if they bite him or whatever, they turn back into humans. That is how they should have ended it. So it becomes a chain. Affected ones bite healed ones, then becomes healed and so on. But I guess that wouldn't be that great either. =P

Poor Samantha why do dogs have to bark at each other. They could have lived longer together. Too bad he didnt go with that girl to the safe city place.

It's a strange movie but a very catching one, it's awesome his love for the dog and Sam's fidelity for him.

Wow! This was one of the best movie I had ever scene up to this point. I waited for the movie to come out on DVD so I could watch it better. And once it came out, I found it to be one of the best ever. Will Smith is such a great actor that he completes this movie. It was an intense thriller that all should love.

For a Will Smith movie it didn't live up to expectations definitely. Also...what a brilliant idea! The last man on earth??? I mean how can that movie NOT be good. I loved it but the critics went all over it. I thought Will Smith did an excellent job! When the dog dies is really sad, and I really like the ending (although it seems like I am the only one who did lol).

i love this movie. i went to watch it at premiere and i loved the way it ended. anyhow i heard there is a optional ending for the cinematic version ? anyone know if its any good?

my favourite parts of this movie (in addition to the ending) was all the creepy scenes, where the un-human creatures were on hunt. i like spooky movies ^,^

this movie is really great, the part were Will dies is the most dramatic part. it gets boring on some parts of the movie, but its really good.
