American Dance Crew Season 2

It's back. And in record time. The auditions is up for viewing at mtv.com. So far watched 40 minutes of the 2 hour audition. I haven't watched it all, but will finish tonight with girlfriend. Just wondering if anyone else is going to watch.

So far the only groups I have seen are: Phresh Select (did I get the name wrong?), Sass times 7, Shh, and Boogie Bots. I liked Shh and Boogie Bots. The other two don't look like they would be able to bring the consistency and the dedication to get first.

after watching the frist season i don't know if want to watch the next one , I loved season 1 but after seeing the JabaWalkies who is going to be better than them, those guy are sick how do you top the guys of season one

I just finished watching Season 2 auditions. There were not very many impressive teams. Actually, some of the teams I liked were eliminated...:(

MonkeyKing you should watch it. There is a crew that is suppose to be the rivals of Jabbawockeez. The Supreme Soul.

There were 14 teams (no particular order):
East Coast:
1. Boogie Bots
2. Phresh Select
3. SassX7
4. Shhh

MidWest:
5. Full Effect
6. A.S.I.I.D.
7. Xtreme Dance Force

South:
8. Distorted X
9. HIStory
10. SoReal Cru

West Coast:
11. Fanny Pak
12. Team Millenia
13. Supreme Soul
14. Super Cr3w

The teams I like initially:
1) Boogie Bots (look like they are imitating the movements of crews on the first season)
2) Full Effect (Theatrical dance/hip hop, way better than Iconic)
3) A.S.I.I.D. (Inspiring story, good flow and seem strong)
4) SoReal Cru (Their flow is fricken awesome. Love their slow moves)
5) Team Millenia (Reminds me of Kaba Modern but they were pretty good)
6) Supreme Soul (The group that beat Jabbawockeez in some other dance competition, they are pretty sick though)
7) Super Cr3w (Breakdancers with strong moves)

And I agree with Trapper, I love this show (then again I love shows with dance, just not interpretive or modern dancing :))

So, I'm pretty much bored while waiting for MTV to put up the season 2 episodes. (Don't have cable or whatever MTV is on). Playing with signatures and reading up on some of MTV blogs about the show. Apparently, Team Millennia beat Kaba Modern in a dance competition somewhere else. Also they seem to know the Jabawockeez (not sure if that means they danced against them).

Anyway, what I wanted to post, because I found it funny, that Team Millennia has a huge fan base and they wanted them back. I guess they would have been a good team to have on the show. I wonder if their number of viewers would have been higher. (How does the public get their hands on these numbers anyway?)

So many of you were P.O.’ed by the judges’ decision to cut TM on last week’s America’s Best Dance Crew Casting Special. It’s all over the message boards. Thing is, folks, a petition to put the crew back on the show just isn’t gonna cut it. It’s time to move on. The jig is up. - mtv.com

Going to continue being bored until the show is put on the web.

I never did like that show, at all.

I like it due to people dancing. I'm more for these type of reality shows. American Idol (although I will never watch), America's Got Talent, etc. These are the type of shows I can get into because it is all about talent and not about showing **** and ***. (Beauty and the Geek for example).

But to each their own. ^__^

For this episode, I really like the following teams (no particular order, just the way they showed up on the show):

1) So Real Cru (love the slow flow)
2) ASSID (lol very entertaining)
3) Super Cr3w (not because of their costumes, but they were very entertaining)
4) Phresh Select (love that hat trick)

All I got to say about Supreme Soul. They were ****y, they brought it strong in the audition, but man oh man, did they just suck in the first episode. I guess all that rivalry with the Jabbas were BS. Plus I don't like the message of why they are on the show. We are here just to win. At least jabba did it for their leader (Gary...was it Gary?).

After this episode I think it will be the following in order of elimination.
1) Super Cr3w
2) ASIID
3) So Real Cru
4) Phresh Select
5) Boogie Bots
6) Supreme Soul
7) Fanny Pack
8) Sassx7
9) Xreme Dance Force

I predict xtreme, if not them, then sass7 to be kicked next.

If you check out mtv.com and look for the link called America's Best Dance Crew, and click on it. You will be able to read up on or watch a few shows. I don't know why they changed the format, the older one was better because the episode was split into parts, so it was easier to watch.
