Animate text in gimp(easier that the one i made a while ago)

I was wondering tho how do i make it flash slower??

You see on the last image i put on the tutorial, well, where it says 100ms in brackets, well double click on it and then click on the number again to edit it...and edit the 100 to a larger number.....1000 being 1 second....if i was you, id change them all to 300 and see how that looks

what is a script fu? I clicked script fu but not animator option. why?

dont worry about script-fu.. go to diagonals>animation>optimize for gif

I have used this tut and i made my animation just fine but when i get to script-fu im not sure where i can locate that.

Well i skipped the script-fu part, the 3 frames crap and 0 blur part

gimp 2.4 has no script_fu but all it's features have been put into "filter"
