there should be a place where we make brilliant work and we get payed in sbp for it i believe as in say i just made a brilliant sig with no name on it and i want something more then just a hey dude thats a great sig or piece of art i want a reward for it and there may be a bunch of people who want that, and so we could make a place where we can auction off our work and get paid however many sbps that the winner gives for it. sound good give me your suggestions plz

but see there is a problem with that. you cant really sell images on the internet because by the time u see the image, you can always right click and save it. but, some websites have a block on that so it shows a completely different image if u save it. i saw we do that for all of our images. like if they save it without buying it, it will instead save an image saying:
"Little thief! Go back and pay for it if you really want it!"

or:

"SUCK IT! Go buy it instead!

yes i do to but my currency isn't pounds its dollars you know $$$$$ and this is supposed to be a free site and even if they right click and save as it will have the artists user name on it and in clearly visible text do not rip!!! (we will make sure you can still see the sig or art clearly though)

wouldnt it be more fun to do my suggestion? well, i guess that would be pointless because u can always use a screen capture device and steal it anyway. but im also pretty sure that, with advanced website making, you can set it to disappear when u use a program like that on it. like a transparent image so if you were to take a snapshot of the entire page, the image just wouldnt be there. same thing if u just took a snapshot of the image itself.

This is a good idea, but i have a feeling it may not take off very well, as i think members would prefer to request a sig, rather than bid for one. As requesting a signature is more personal to them.
This is just a thought though, and its still great to see everyones thoughts and ideas.

These are all good ideas, Im defintiely planning on a shop of some kind on the new site. More so each user will have their own more detailed profile area where they can have some control on wht they can display and / or share, maybe even their own blog.

With regards to earning from your work. I might trial a marketplace where you can offer your services to others either for points or money.. Problem is when you have a site offering services for money, it also attracts scammers who start offering services and then run off with your money. i.e. I dont think we're ready for that type of setup yet, but certainly a points based marketplace would be a great start.

in that situation trade i think ud have to have someone in the middle like a bank or something- someone trustworthy that can take the money from the buyer and the product from the seller and swap them over so theres no stealing etc and its always going through the same person...
