San Diego Padres fan here! It's been a rough year...

My philosophy on baseball. You root for your hometown team AT ALL COSTS.

If you're from the west coast, live on the west coast, and root for an east coast team there's something wrong with you. That's how I see it. :-)

And I'd rather see a team that spends as little money as possible make it to the october classic than a team that spends tons of money. Seems to me the kids that get paid less have more to play for.

The two New York Teams are the METS and YANKEES, its better to like the Yankees than the mets becuase they are a better team, But there are a lot of player haters out there, becuase there is no cap on the Money spent on players so the Yanks have bolstered their Roster with the alot of TOP NOTCH players, and the fans of teams that dont have alot of money hate it. The money depends on the revenue of that city and the Yanks bring in ALOT of money so they get to spend alot. You would think Seattle would to though.

The history of Baseball in America is rooted in the East Coast and Mid West. West Coast baseball came about the 1950s? (just guessing, when the Giants and the Dodgers moved out here)

I'd like to pose a question though, that's bothered me a bit. I heard the phrase "America's Team" in reference to a baseball team, what does that mean?

The Bronx Bombers!!! Im such a die hard baseball fan i can watch the crappiest teams play each other on t.v., the whole game! But my heart is and always will be the New York Yankees as I am a new yorker and that other team didnt come into the league until the 60's, also the yanks have had some of the all-time greats, from Ruth to Dimaggio, to Mantle and of course Jeter, Arod, Rivera, etc etc I can go on all day lol
