Basic Sig Comp. #2

Basic signature Competition (beginners only)

This competition will be run weekly by myself, Etha.
It's an opportunity for beginners to learn and improve their sig making skills.

Here are the rules:

1) You can only join in only if you class yourself as a beginner and want to learn and improve your skills.

2) Signatures must not be over 400x150.

3) You must include your username on the signature.

4) Everyone must use the same render given and chosen by the runner of the comp...Etha.
The render will be varied each week.

5) The competition will run from Monday to Friday.

6) During this time, once a signature has been submitted, everyone on the forum (beginner or advanced) can comment on the signatures posted and feel free to advise them on what to change to improve it.

7) Signatures can be changed up untill you are happy with the final result. But must be completed by Friday.

8.) Voting will be Saturday untill Sunday.

9) Anyone can vote...(beginner or advanced).

10) You must NOT vote for your own signature.

11) There are no points involved whatsoever. This is just to learn.

12) Have Fun =]

hmmm maybe pick a render that wud be easier to work with, those colors r a bit iffy it terms of making it fit with a sig imo anyway.

Id lose the border and have a simple 1 pixel black one.
not too sure what the brown bit id under the text, i think that should go too...and maybe the render towards the middle a bit more,

but apart from that...i love the shiny blue background, goes well with the render...a nice colour, the text is cool too :D

Banana: I like it.. i would just go for a darker blue on the background of the border it seems cool like it is, at least different of what we always do, same for the Blue inside the sig, it would just try something a little more dark!

And i would go for more effects on the render, some light, deepness...

The text humm, i really dont like it a lot...
but i advice you to read the tutorial here: ( it helped me a lot )

go for it, but be quick as the voting was suppose to be during the weekend and since no one else joined, there couldn't be a comp. this week. but if you make one then we could actually hold it. the voting would end monday and then a new comp will start!

looks good! the render looks like it got a little pixelated though, in this comp we give advice and you can change your sig to try and win so if you want you could change it so the render isn't as pixelated. :D

etha should hopefully do it when she gets on in like 5 hours or so. she is the mod for this comp. If not by the time I wake up, I'll do it, ok!
