Basic signature Competition (beginners only)

This competition will be run weekly by myself, wolf
It's an opportunity for beginners to learn and improve their sig making skills.

Here are the rules:

1) You can only join in only if you class yourself as a beginner and want to learn and improve your skills.

2) Signatures must not be over 400x150.

3) You must include your username on the signature.

4) Everyone must use the same render given and chosen by the runner of the comp...wolf.
The render will be varied each week.

5) The competition will run from Monday to Friday.

6) During this time, once a signature has been submitted, everyone on the forum (beginner or advanced) can comment on the signatures posted and feel free to advise them on what to change to improve it.

7) Signatures can be changed up until you are happy with the final result. But must be completed by Friday.

8.) Voting will be Saturday until Sunday.

9) Anyone can vote...(beginner or advanced).

10) You must NOT vote for your own signature.

11) There are no points involved whatsoever. This is just to learn.

12) Have Fun =]

id say work on your depth, blur and sharpen areas.
sharpen your focal too, then it would look better!@ :D

Sir Air Dude, could you fill us in on how you got those card effects? There really good man the animation could be smoother though.

its a good effect yes u break the sig down into sections and animate each 1 to get the right effect it could do with some more blending but i do lke the effect GJ

its not really my thing all there is is renders on this the cards r and the background all you have done is just blend it in :( try making 1 from scratch just using the render given and brushes effects etc

I been workin on this nearly 2hrs, Ive gone with the theme, Used my own ideas and incorporated a stock photo & gambits card render, aswell as the render supplied, added various affects, Im happy with it, But hey all comments welcome, We all beginners :-)

ok it does look good yes! all it is though is just render ather render sigsis about customizing so u makethe pic your own with your own design not like a copy and past thing with a bit of effects can u tell me what effects etc u did just i can understandwhy it took you 2 hrs coz u have out work into it yh

Firstly it took me nearly 2hrs coz im still learning and i wanted to do my best, and out of the few i done i thought this was the best, Secondly ive used the render supplied (no mention in the rules about using other renders or stock photos) Thirdly used various filters, tools,brushes, burn dodge, colours, shadin affects etc,etc, gradient map on one layer, lil glow on render n text etc,etc.....

So as far as im concerned ive made the sig my own :-)

Oh and lastly if it wasnt for signaturebar.com i wouldnt be postin anything, This site has helped me alot, And members and staff are a great help aswell
