I saw it this afternoon! I have an unhealthy obsession with Christian Bale and this only made it worse ;). What an awesome movie! I agree Heath's performance was amazing. It's so sad that he's no longer with us.

I read that there's speculation that the whole thing stemmed from depression because of his failing marriage and the death of Heath Ledger.

Yeah I just got back from watching it and WHOOOOOH I didnt want to watch it but I am damn glad I did. The Tricks was so freaking cool. Heath Ledger did such a great job as the Joker. He has got to be one of the best villians portraited in a Movie.

There where alot of Twists and turns in the movie and all in all it is a MUST SEE!

Yeah my hubby didn't really want to see it at first either. He wanted to see a comedy of some kind and I was like no way, he promised we could go see it when it came out. He ended up really liking it anyways so that was good. I am hoping to go see it again soon!

it was just amazing!!!!!! really lived up to the hipe about it!

im seeing it again on thursday, in gold class for free :D

gold class is like luxurious- more expensive n u get food n drink served to u, a recliner chair n stuff :D

Is it really a good movie? I have heard from some people its a bit to long and it wasnt the best...is it one of those movies if you could only see 1 movie a year you would see it?

It was 2.5 hours long and I never once found myself thinking "Is it almost done?" I loved it and at the end was kind of sad it was over. If I could watch one movie all year it would be this one. Actually since having my little guy this is the first movie we've been to see all year and I couldn't think of any other one I'd have rather seen.

i think it was a bit weird how it was like 2 batmans in 1 though, with the joker AND two face...i thought 2 face would have been its own movie...

I loved it Heath Ledger was great, the only thing that was a little let down was that I felt it was a bit long and sort of dragged out. But regardless its a true masterpeice!!!

That movie was one of the best movies i've seen so far. Heath Ledger should get an award for his performance but =(. It had so much action all the crimes were all organized. It was like the crime was never gonna stop.

The Batman series try to illustrate this and add in a ray of hope, one main with a passion to protect, but they even throw in reality making his passion just a vendetta. It is just telling you that corruption exist, and we the only ones who can stop it. We are the ones that need to change. If each one of us is a Bruce Wayne or a Harvey Dent, then the world would be bearable.

Yea I know it is all the way from page 1, but I just read the 3 pages.
Anyways the only thing I have against bootleg copy is that alot of them are crap, either in image or sound quality. If you are getting the good ones then cool, but I personally love the theater experience with the big screen and great sound. The bad part of going to the theater is the ppl sometimes not shutting up during the movie.

Getting back to the topic:
I saw the movie and I thought it was great. I wasn't bored one bit during the 2 1/2 hours. I also agree that Heath Ledger pulled off playing the Joker perfectly, I think he was mostly responsible for making the movie as good as it was.
Christian Bale imo is a very good choice to portray Bruce Wayne as well as Batman. I was a fan of Christian Bale as soon as I saw "Equilibrium."

Now I can't wait to see him in Terminator 4 when it comes out next year.

Im not one of Heath Ledger's fans at all really, but that dark knight movie was by far the best performance of the Joker I have ever seen, I thought Jack was pretty good back in the day but Heath was a phenom as the joker and he deserves best actor indeed for his performance... rip Heath :cry:

i saw the dark knight 10 times, no lie i spent $100 at the movies in about 3 weeks. i found heath ledgers proformence completely and utterly brilliant. he poured his soul into that part and did not dissapoint. this is how the joker will be remembered and this is how Heath will be remembered.
