I have been training my self and doing my home gym set for about 4 months and I still haven't got sick of it.
I'm thinking about signing up for boxing, I know that you have to train a lot until you get your first proper boxing match.
I would like to know what you all think.
I have quite a lot of strength for my age / weight.
I focus a lot on the boxing bag and work on it a lot.
I trained with my older brother he is about 12 or less years older then me.
We had a spa in his mates gym after a training session one night and I did good accordingly to the instructor which is my brothers mate.
I hope there is enough details there for your opinions.
(please don't hate on me because I'm different.)

I did boxing for a while, few fights. It is great fun training, ended up really fit and was lovin it, but some of the kids out there boxing are freaks, no mercy... If you're gunna keep goin with it you hafta learn that the guy on the other side of the ring is going to kill you if you don't put him on the ground...

The motivation for every fight should be that you don't want to stop because if you do he will hurt you up real bad.

try this site, been ages since I was there but I loved it. I think this is the right link. www.saddoboxing.com

My uncle used to be a great boxer, even did big state matches etc but then he started smoking and had kids so that all went down the drain. He taught me all the things i needed to know to defend myself though.

I think if your fit enough and determined enough boxing would be great! I was thinking about doing it, i have been to a program thing and i have the skill, strength and speed to be able to do it. but im not fit enough and im a lover not a fighter :P (even though i can fight) and i didnt really have the drive to push through so i didnt really get into it.

so yeah my vote is yes go for it!

so tell us a bit about yaself? age/weight/height etc if ya dont mind...
