well mystical unicorn was very convicing ^_^ lol but there are people like me and mystical unicorn that learn better from videos then text.

yea actually theme idea came from jako ^^
he wanted to do tutorial before BSOTW starting :)
and i would like to see you guys using different render than all same from like unicorns xD

What is considered a mythical creature? Like creatures from real-life cultural myths? Or can creatures be anything from the fantasy world, like in Dungeons and Dragons, there are creatures called beholders which I do not remember reading about in myths at all. For example:

Beasts: dragons, phoenixes, basilisks, hydras, leviathans, etc.
What about half and half: minotaurs, sphinxes, harpies, centaurs, manticores, etc.
Do these count, since they are more established as humanoids: vampires, werewolves, angels, seraphims, etc.

if you class dragons as animals then do of them :)

Hmm, I haven't got any idea what animal to use in it, so it needs to be an animal, or can I use any mythical character (like gods etc.)? :)

has to be an animal...as thats the theme...but thats a very large variaty...and (from what was said in the last page) you can use humanoid as long as they dont exist in are would, but has to be part animal. vampire - bat, werewolf - wolverine (< yes it is an animal not just a charicter for x-man) and so on

well it was flying fast at the time LOL
i had been watching jako's tut but i was tired and got lost
then i think i might of just got a little bit carried away with the blur tool :)
