Yeh man, go into Render Settings and then go to Output (option on the left sidebar of Render Settings popup). Then change your size there. Wish I knew how to do bubbles.. Can you link to the tut please?

Ok well can you please link me to the tutorial? I'd like to learn :)

I make C4d's by simply putting a few standard objects together, like 3 different shaped squares, then putting them into a null object and using the deformers (such as Bend, Twist etc) to make a cool effect. Then I copy the Null Object and paste it again, and put it in another position (possibly rotated/scaled/moved).

As for the texture on the text, make sure the texture is on the Extrude Nurbs, and not on the spline object (the text).

also i made a spear and then did a deform but it shows the deform shape but it just goes over the sphere and doesn't do anything to it. i'm a noob sorry lol

You drag the deformer under the shape. So it looks indented..
