Theyre just pictures, you open them in photoshop, and change the blending mode to screen, or soft light, or w/e rocks your boat. Then you move them around, erase, duplicate, smudge etc etc you know what i mean. Post here if sumthing is unclear

OK, i found out its possible in GIMP, follow carefuly
1.First open a new doc, any size.
2.Fill it with black, or w/e
3.Then insert your render, and scale it
4.Then in the layers thing window select screen, or what ever you need
and there ya have it.
This was all done in GIMP 2.2

you know what is cool if you have a bg already some what, turn the blend option to say softlight, then dupicate the layer like 2 times and maybe try changing one of those layers blending options to whatever....play! lol :D

What is a c4d? I'm assuming it's some sort of graphic judging by context. Sorry for the ignorance, I've been trying to figure it out for a week.

C4D stands for Cinema 4D, and is a program made by Maxon used for creating 3D images. They're very useful when it comes to giving depth to sigs and other such things.

You aren't alone Marolynn. Didn't know what a c4d was either. You have seen them, for sure. They tend to look like this. http://planetrenders.net/renders/displayimage.php?pos=-956
