What is a C4D?

I'm sorry I not sure what this is I have been using Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel for a while now and have not come acrross anything for C4D. Could someone explain to me where it is and if it another program let em know what program is. As I go through the tutorials I keep coming across this and I figure that is has been missing between mine and everyone else Siggies..

It's a type of effect that you can add to a picture. Here is a few examples;

where do I get them from I notice there are different Effect C4D is it a separate program.... thanks it help some to at least understand where they fall in the Sig.

You can find them on these forums, Google, just type C4D renders, and loads will come up.

And certain ones like the 1st one when u drag it onto the image, just double click it and set it to, screen or lighten. :)

You have to use Cinema4d to make your own c4d if you want to be unique.

You could do that, but needs alot of practice, and it's comlicated. Or you could just Google it. :P
