CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLS!!!!! before i go n hang myself

Ok hi guys... so i've been tryin to make sigs, remember im a newb.... i found a nice tut animation one, here.. http://www.urlearn.com/phototut/rain.htm

But i got stuck at STEP 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how the heck do i do..im lost idk how to make the animation on it....

select file >> Edit in ImageReady .
in the imageready show the animation palette and layers palette if they are invisible:
To do that :
choose Window >> Timeline
Window >> Layers.

first off all my photoshop CS3 is in swedish so its kinda really hard to translate all the **** but i fixed it but got stuck on the Edit imageReady ...... I CANT FIND IT!!!!! :( so i skipped it.....Then what the heck shud i do when i have the animation box done? how do i save the image with the rain? do i hafto Merge all layers? then they will disappear......how do i save the animation?.. i really DONT know what im doing.. omg ive been tryin to figure this out for 3hours now, nothing works!! i give up........got stuck at step 3 now all the work on it is down in the garbage.. think im gonna give up on making sigs...... someone help O.o pls.....

i dont use photoshop for making sigs.. so i cant help you..

but about saving the animation i have some help to offer, you dont need to merge the layers, save it as .gif and if another window comes , select save as animation..

this is what i did.
After i made the animation layers,i clicked window>animation.Once the animation window showed up,it had only one frame.So you click on all the eyes in the layer tab, except your first rain animation.Then click on the second rain animation layer,but don't click on the eye yet.Then click New frame in the animation box (should be next to the trash can i think).Hide the first animation layer,then show you second rain animation layer.Keep doing that till your finished.Then go to File>save for web a devices.If you didn't understand what i said lol read this tutorial from step 5.

oh thanks guys. both of u, hehe Raditz i udnerstood some but ty will check the tut :) ....im not sure i will get it anyway omg, itslike..its too complicated for my head lol, but i will try again then :)

u know that tut u sent ive seen it before but didnt understand a thing from it, but after this one i had, i kinda learned from it but then u sent that tut and it made it all all more clear.. i think the tut i used its for older photoshop version? cuz in CS3 we save it as WEb devices, n on that tut i had it didnt say so that really made me confused, but once again thank U <333 uve saved me lots of time :)))

is this normal, if i copy n paste a html code in the sig box that this thing shows up ...<a><img></a> .........instead of the sig?!?! ... is it friday the 13th today cuz somehow im feelin really unlucky!!! :(( :oops: :oops:

just click select code,then click copy.And just paste it in the signature box which is in your profile
