Edit: Chipz on your tut it says "apply Image" do you mean Image>Apply image OR do u mean apply image as below??

Yeah , whenever i say apply image , i mean : New layer>Image>Apply image ;).

here's my stab at it pretty sure i messed up somewere but im not used to adding Apply Image(s) :?
the render came out too bright too :(

What i usually do whenever my render gets too bright , i take the first render , duplicate it and move it on the top and play with blending modes , with your sig , i'd try multiply , and then add a new light source or sum.

I really like your outcome =) . It has nice effects. And the text is quite my taste also .
