Well font isnt so importn if you know how to make it look good
first learn how to make it good and mybe than choose font xD

he was talking abt clipping masks ... use the clone tool for that.

with the clone tool selected and the layer you want to mask selected hold ctrl and click what you want to mask. then click where you want the mask to go.

okay so if the wolfys smudge brush has been download it will automaticly go to the smudge brush right

no, u have to move it too this folder: C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes

(the "C:" can be different depending on your computer.)

Then just paste them in there and restart Gimp

this is starting to happen to me aswell, to get around it you can (must) save your work and restart gimp and then do the Curve, color balance etc. or just dont do it...u dont have to follow my tuts to the letter, just try and learn something
