You do know this BBt 2006 - is the person who created this image (obviously for a psp lol), so just as a note to TRADEMON - if this guy/gal was to know that someone here has edited their work without permission in a new piece of work ; then if he was to complain about (c) infrigement (regardless of who owns the rights to the car picture itself), then the site IS liable - and could be closed.
I think you need to make it aware, and very clear (for the future of the site) that people MUST have permission if its to EDIT someone else's work.
Its different with renders as a whole, as we dont have a clue who may own them etc ; BUT - you could put a STICKY topic (in bold of course) on all requesting sub forums about (c) remaining the property of their respective owners, including mentioning how the site is not responsible for members editing the images to suit the requestee's needs.
That way - your covered.
Just a thought. Do as you wish with the advice, but if ONE person was to report the requesting section to the relevant people without this nofication, then unfortunately - your liable, so play safe.
POST THE (C) WARNING NOTICE ok

Just to clarify again and im not sure why we're going over this whole topic again (As this is all stated in the terms and conditions of the site) but if a copyright owner is not happy with you using their image or you dont have permission to use it then as per out terms and conditions we will remove the image.
I cannot remember the thread where we discussed this a long time ago but lets face it all images are copyrighted to the original owner whether they have the famous C or not, Adding the C is optional and helpful so that people are aware that its owner is not happy with it being copied. so if you see the C then dont use it, unless you have express permission for use.
I hope that helps... and in this situation just chat to bbt 2006 whoever he is and ask him if its ok for you to use his work. I dont think he will have any problems since you left the BBT 2006 in his work.. but to be on the safe side just let him know.
Nice work by the way... Keep it up :)
thanks
