Contacting Staff Members

Hey guys,

Just a friendly word about contacting staff members.

Lately a few of the staff, including myself, have been contacted many times by PM or even through IM asking for personal requests to be made or for us to join other peoples new forums.

The staff are very busy, not only with their real lives but with taking care of sigbar, so we ask that you refrain from contacting staff unless it has something to do with sigbar. This means if you want to request a sig, then go to the request section or PM the request team instead.

Also, in regards to members sending PMs, if anyone receives Private Messages from someone advertising other forums or outside links please notify the staff. Also if your getting constant PMs asking for requests to be made, as we have a request section for a reason.

Plus, think of the reputation you guys can get when us staff members +rep you for notifying us :D

REgarding problem posts in the forums is it best to hit the report post button or Pm that particular areas mod?

It is best in my opinion to hit the report button as it sends a message to ALL staff members. However if a particular mod is on at the time it probably wouldn't hurt to PM them or send an IM if you see them on.

Yeh I agree with Etha, make sure when you report the post that you put a reason for it. We all then get emails of this reported post, and one of us will act quickly on it. Otherwise, if one of us is on atm just pm us :)
