Someone wishes for something, you grant it, then corrupt it. and wwish for something yourself.

Example:

Person 1: I wish for a new CD.

Person 2: Wish granted, but its a cher cd. Enough said. I wish for a cat.

Person 3: Wish granted, but the cat Claws your face off. I wish for Fight Club on DVD.

Person 4: Wish granted, but its so incredibly awesome your face melts. etc...
