Crop Problems

i have crop problems my crop goes in that way onls look:

And yes that is adobe photoshop cs4

Cs4 is out ? If it does that wont be getting ill stick with my cs2. About your problem hope someone can help you.

You have to click the little check up in the right top corner. It has like a check mark and there's the Cancel sign next to it.

Problem is that crop only goes Diogonal..
like in ctrl+T to resize render u have to hold shift this is the same thing

first off, I love that you have cs4 but are using an old school version of windows, lol :P

now what's the exact problem? cause nothing seems wrong to me :? its your crop tool, you use it to select an area or portion of a picture and delete the rest, when you "crop" your canvas size will also become the size of the area you selected.

now I might be wrong, but I think the crop tool has always looked just like how it does in your example picture, please try to explain better and spell correctly so I or someone else doesn't miss understand :)
