How do I do so? I mean like detailed cropping. Not cropping you can do in Microsoft office picture manager. For example: a pic with a group of ppl and I just want to pull one person out of that pic so I can layer it on another pic for a new background.

tutorial
Its quite simple. Tools>paths. Draw a path around your render, try to avoid that random, straight path.
choose the laso select tool (when your done rendering your image) so the selection will leave from sight.
Dialogues> paths. select the path you just drew. then press the little box at the bottom (path to selection)
Now, press ctrl+ I then ctrl+X
add a new layer below this and fill it with black or white so you can see if you need any tuchups. If you do need a couple tuchups, you can go around again, or you can erase some parts.
