dead/dying computer

ahh! this is really ****ing me off. every time i log into my computer, it freezes and i dunno what to do. does anyone here have any suggestions i can do to fix it? and yes, i tried reformatting, so that's out.

please help me. i'm using my mom's laptop right now.

May you please post the specs of your comp?

If you dont know how, go to "Start", "Run" and then type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes, and it should tell you

i figured it out. all i needed to do was repair the Windows files using the original disc. yay!
