So what you think of the new album ? (yes i do know that the best songs of mettalica come from the old album's but ...you cant lisen't to them forever can you ? )

It actually surprised me Sheky. I'm old school Metallica fan, nothing after Justice for me, but..........

I have had this album playing for a solid 2 weeks now, really got to me. Got a lot of old patterns in it for Ride the Lightning and Justice, back to the old sound. Glad to see solos are back, and good ones.

Glad they made the change to Rick Rubin, he did a good job as resurrecting what, in my opinion, could have been the last of Metallica. If it was anything like St. Failure.... they would have been crucified.

Yeah I have not got a chance to listen to any of the songs off of the new Metalica CD, but I used to listen to them all the time. But I did not like their old new stuff so I kind of just stopped listening to them. Since yall saying that this CD is good maybe I will go out and pick it up some day this week, who knows I might like their new CD and become a fan once again.

well, I got the new Metallica album and i love it.
ofcourse there are no such hits on it like I loved from he old albums, but they are not needed. cause Metallica already had those hits and i can still listen to them whenever i want.
what I like about the new album is, that its solid, really thrashy and reminds of the old Metallica.

I never heard the normal version of it... I heard the sound quality was really bad and that when they made it downloadable on Guitar Hero 3, they made the sound a lot better, and I had that version... It is a lot better then their past few albums... Maybe Rise Against will take a hint from this and go back to their old stuff... :?
