I tell you some funny yet not so funny life drama. Started about 6 months ago (I dont have enough time to talk about longer). I might need to give you some quick background. 36/male/in the south (always being tested in man hood in the south). I have 6 brothers who are younger than me. I have seen them grow up and become well some what successful. I use to play soccer in my younger days and have been watching my youngest brother play soccer for his HS. I got the urge to play soccer again. I had a few guys from work who I know played and have asked me to join up. I have always turned it down for one reason or the other. This time I said I think I will play again. I show up for my first game. I am not the an out of shape person. I dont have the stamina but am pretty fit.
Well at the first game I kicked the ball around to warm up. It felt really good and was amazed that I still had some decent skills. I was nervous as hell though. Well, our goalie never showed up. Team all freaked out. Stupid new guy me says " Man I play goalie.....I never done it before but what the heck. " I jumped right in there to warm up some. Hard getting use to use your hands. Just didnt feel right. But tried. The game starts and before you know it were down 3 nothing in five minutes. My team sucked so bad it wasnt even funny. I was no goalie but 2 v me its a goal with no problem. Well the so called coach/team leader yelled at me to come out and be more aggressive. For some reason I was steamed. Well on there next break away I ran out and my goal was to kick the leather off the ball. As soon as kicked it the player kicked me in the shin. OMG it was the worse pain ever. I couldnt get up. Well, My shin guard shattered and my leg was broke also. Who breaks there leg in a soccer game with old guys....well me. I had to have surgery and rod put into my leg. 7 weeks of sitting at home bored as can be and looking stupid trying to carry a cup of water with crutches. I was miserable. Just started a new position at work and it put a damper on training. The next day after I broke my leg, my wife and I went to have our 8 week ultrasound done. Miscariage. I went to surgery on on wed, her on Thur. Bad week. As time went by my leg healed and wife did also. Once my leg started to feel better 5 months later I decided to by a 4 wheeler. My brothers and I would ride all the time. It was awesome. Well, just last week go old me got his leg caught by the 4 wheeler back tire and broke the same leg again. This time both bones broke and my foot was ponting to the right. The rod keep my bones inside my skin but held my foot out. I look so goofy. I was like omg what happen. Laying there in shock and yelling. I couldnt believe it. I had everything run through my head at once. Work, Wife, Family. They were all right I need to stop being a kid. Damn them. I had to go back for surgery and have my foot stop point to the north and more screws put in. The next day was once again 8 week ultra sound. This time everything is good. history didnt repeat itself this time. Thank god. Now I am home bored and in pain. FOR SALE 4 WHEELER w/SOCCER CLEATS.....CHEAP. :P

Who cares "pawned, Pwned, Powned" The moral of the story is He has a lot of time on his hands or should I say Leg lol. I put 390 hours into Battlefield 2 when I broke both of my arms two years ago. Its good to do something with your time. If I was a member here I would have done the same thing with one post or 100.

Bango
If you thought it was pointless then move on no sense in making someones post not valid man by telling them it is pointless.

sounds fun to me compared to the stupid things I did with freinds. like jumping of a mantanance pipe about 20 to 30 feet off the ground into a shallow stream. I remember that one to this day even though it was almost 10 years ago. LOL I need a better brain....

thats one thing I have not done yet... mainly cause most of my freinds have calmed down now like me. we are lazy bums now. cant wait for end of finals. we already got plans to go peir fishing down in galvastin. thats a little ways down from houston in texas. I dont think we are going to bring much beer cause I think we are leaning towards doing some serious all 24 fishing. :D one of my freinds got himself hooked last time we brought a good amount of beer when we were 24 hour fishing and it was not pretty. thats reason for not much beer.

fishing takes patents or lazyness. if you dont have one or both, usually you dont like it. though I know a couple of guys that got hooked after catching something.
