It's a really good game a bit short but the boss fight are so awesome. They are also quite easy to get achievments on.

Dante, "you're" in it. you get to play him later in the game i believe. is he better than Nero or are they about same? i don't really know because i haven't played DMC 1, 2, or 3 for lack of PS2...

lol, I haven't played it that much with my work, sigbar, WoW and my ladie being pregnant and all...but I am going to play it as long it needs to see one of my favo chars (dante) back in action... :P

And how IGN (in gods name) is it possible for you not to have a ps2.
It's a must have like a mobile phone dude.... :shock:

i used to have one, but that's when all the PS2 games sucked, like GTAIII days.. when i had it, i had no idea what Devil May Cry was till now. XD

i've only played the demo that was released on xbox live but the game seems really good. it was already answered but Dante is a playable character in the game (and i think he has 4 diff fighting styles). my only experience with Devil May Cry was the first one and then my ps2 died. Ever since then i have owned an xbox/xbox360, i think i might have to go back and get a ps2 though to play the other DMC games as well as God of War... Those and the Ace Combat series are enough reason to own a PS2.

aparently not alot of people here have played devil may cry one. thats too bad. its one of the best ones and ranks right along devil may cry four as completely great games and is potentally one of my favorites of all times.
Be glady you missed devil may cry two. it was HORRIBLE! the worse let down on any series I have ever had. Devil may cry three is a very good recovery after the disaster of devil may cry two but it does not have the same touch to me as dmc 1 did. I still think it is worth getting. Nero in four is far cooler in gameplay than dante is. he just looks bad in some of the cutscense. dante is playable for a good number of battles, but this is nero's game basically and I am glad it is. worth getting for dmc fan? definitely. worth getting for a newcomer? still yes.

Devil May Cry was oringinally set to have 3-d gameplay in 2-d world. or was it the other way around? :oops: prity sure I got it right.
eather way it is like playing the old resedent evil 2 camera angles. Too bad you cant shoot the camera like you can in re2. 8) Only Devil May Cry one players generaly know that but others have figured it out. devil may cry one did by far the best with the fixed camera angles. unfortunately, duplacating that success in the fix camera angle department has been fleeting. :(

I played the game until the third lvl or so and i got lost and bored so i took the game back

Devil May Cry 4 a.k.a DMC4 was a sweet game when it came down to graphics but the gameplay was poor the combos got boring even on the hardest difficulty still wasn.t a big plus. but if you are looking for good graphics & awesome slaying DMC4 is a good game to rent. even know took like half a hour to download all the special pkts. & all. DMC4 a ooook game to rent not to own. unless you are a DMC fan. Happy Fragging. jajajahahahah Woo!

this game was amzing and ha d a lot of deep storyline undertones i could go on forever on this game the graphics was great but they couldve done more with the gameplay i kno they are going to do another one they still left many questions unanswered i hoope they will come out with a game foucsing more on vergil after death and stuff he was awesome and is such a great charcter
