Deffinately looking forward to it. Have you seen the gameplay trailer on the blizzard site yet? It's about 10 minutes long and goes over some of the nice new features.

What I'm really interested though, is in what classes they are adding or bringing back with D3 and how they are going to bring back the Duels/PVP aspect of Diablo 2 and if they are going to make any changes.

Only time will tell I guess.

truthfully you making this post just made my day. had no idea they were planning the third diablo but its about time blizzard got off their *** and did it. diablo and diablo 2 were some of my all time favorite computer games. this and starcraft 2 will be great,

I have waited a long time for D3 as well. I played WoW for awhile, but I recently am taking a break from it. I will definatly buy this game. I loved D2, it is in some box in the basement atm though.

I have it installed on my computer at the moment. :) Overpowered, overplayed hammerdins for the win. But yeah, I'm so glad they are going to have unique classes. It angered me so much that WoW didn't. They went from a game with fantastic classes like Blademaster, Demon Hunter, Dreadlord, and made freakin' Warriors, Magi, and Warlocks. Completely ordinary, boring classes. The Witch Doctor has pumped me up behind belief.

I am more of a hack and slash them to bits guys, so the Barbarian Class will be my first choice, even though it was in D2 already. I will definatly make the Witch Doctor as well later though.
On another note is the Barbarian and Witch Doctor the only 2 classes in the game or is there going to be other classes as well?

I think that Diablo 3 is going to be simply beast. The Witch Docter looks awesome. I just hope they come out with a detailed map of snctuary, i'm interested in finding out the geography of the place.

The only thing i'm a bit curious about is how hell has any chance at all against heaven? I mean, I know that it says hell is in chaos since the prime evils have been destroyed, but wouldn't that mean heaven wouldn't hav that much of a challenge?

im running a GeForce 7600 GT on a AMD Athlon 4600+. nothing freakishly fast but should be good enough to run most every game out there. i did have two 7600 GTs running SLI when i first built this computer but i took the other video card out do to the computer running alot more stable without it.

Storyline gaps like that makes the game all the more intriguing. Blizzard really knows how to amp anticipation for games.

Im dying for this game to come out. When the announce a release date, ill be buying myself a new computer for it.. I really hope they can find away to stop all the duping/hacks that are on D2 because its ruining the game. If they do it right, D3 could be one of the best PC games to ever come out I believe. They should also do some sort of in game trading system, hopefully bring trading back to bnet, instead of every1 running to jsp with every little thing they got. The whole D2 econ is fg based now, and it really shouldnt be. Just my opinion though..

More of Blizzard's franchise ugh been around 8 years since D2 came out?....no i do not think Diablo III (D3) is or will even come close to be the best PC game. why? RPG/s are crap...FPS is taking it all & will always take it. but once again have to give it to Blizzard new graphic engine for D3 props *clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap clap* *whistles* so only big thing or new thing about D3 is it is "now motivated by a desire to get players excited about entering and exploring new areas, rather than simply providing the same dark environments over and over again."

D3 will be an awsome game. That's just my opnion. I like the first 2. And I'll like the third as well. And I think this is the same opinion of thousands of people. If you don't like RPG that's not my problem and I don't care.

I think there’s allot of us that are actually afraid of premier of game. Many players love Diablo II to bits and will even stay with Diablo II after Daiblo 3 is released. I will be probably one of them. I play D2 since very beginning. What Blizzard have done with World of Warcraft no everyone likes. I prefer nice clear 2D view of game without those unneeded additions in graphics. The point is to make good game with good gameplay and graphics is just cover for good gameplay. When they spend too much time in graphics it looks like they would like to cover their mistakes with nice graphics. Older times games like Legend of Kyrandia or Curse of Enchantia games also including Put Put (kids games) showed that u don’t need gigabytes of graphics and visual effects. All you need is good idea. In older times games were much more difficult and required from player more effort in brain use nut just click click. The games were really difficult to finish and very very long. When nower days 95% of games you can finish in 24-48 hours. What’s the point of buying a game and finishing in 2 days? When I start doing something that I like I would like to do it for long long time. That’s the point of playing games and enjoying yourself if its going to last only few hours. Undoubtedly Blizzard is one of biggest companies and they are making rules for the rest of the world sometimes. Lets look at Diablo 2. Even after long 8 years after introducing game is still sold in allot of copies. Try to remember how many titles of other games base on schematics used in Diablo 2, how many titles just ripped off Diablo 2 and tried to be at least 10% as good as Diablo 2. Well okay Diablo 2 is not the best computer game on the world but definitely one of most important milestones in computer games world. In my humble opinion after release of Diablo 3 millions of users will play for some time and big part of them will go back to Diablo 2. It was the same with World of Warcraft. After some time love to Diablo 2 is stronger and will always win. I’m not really sure do I wait for Diablo 3 or is it just waiting for unavoidable.
