Dragon Guard Sword

I was bored so I started to draw a dragon. Then I thought the dragon's head would make a sweet guard for a sword. So I made it into one. What yeah guys think?

I don't do full on drawings. Only sketches. Sketches are much faster. :)

Thanks. The kind comments I've been getting everywhere almost makes me want to take this drawing into some serious consideration and make it well good. Take my time on it and what not. Then it hits me that it would be a lot of work and the idea drops. But anyways thanks for the comments. :)

It wouldn't be that different if I re-did it. The blade would be straighter, the handle more defined, the dragon's features more defined and the shading would have more shades and depth. But those little changes would take forever. Don't think it is worth doing.

Drawing really isn't that hard. Just time consuming. Anyone could be the next Picasso.* It just takes lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of practice. Which is why I'm no Picasso. :P

*I know, I know. He paints. He is an amazing artist though so it doesn't make that much of a difference.

Awesome. I may be good at making pictures with photoshop. But the only thing i can hand-draw is bad stickmans :(

you should consider to buy a Wacom tablet , hand drawing but digital :)

Thanks for the comment. :) It took me like 2 hours to color the dragon's head. That's the longest I've taken to do any kind of artwork. I'm very pleased with the dragon's head but not so much with the rest of it.
