do you see the names under it? that is the person who made that particular piece, it could be anime, people or whatever, but the sigs will "overlap" each other and look like one piece :)

Okay guys somehting I just realized that with aGFX worm... standard size per part is 600px in widith... so with 5 people each gfx worm will be 30,000px long.....

I think they misinterpreted it maybe, I guess it could've been interpreted as the whole image is vertical OR it is made up of separate verticals (thats what they did). Either way they were the only one to submit and no1 else did so they win by forfeit.

I will take the blame, I got the battle going and got caught up with work and family vacation and gromit was also on vacation, so both team leader's were on vacation, lol, but that was why I put or when all teams are done

No loki you are wrong. 2 weeks or when the teams are done means 2 weeks at the latest, but if all teams are done early then voting can start early. You have been inactive for a while now, and the other members turned to me to finish it because you went MIA with no notice at all.

Whats the point in saying 2 weeks then if you planned on making it longer? There is none. 2 weeks was the max, "or when all teams had finished" is meaning if they all finish before the deadline.

I gave adequate warning about closing the battle, and we heard nothing. You may have been away yes, but you have around 10 members in your team that could've said something or let us know what is going on. If you want a rematch, so be it.

But Flawless win this one.

Oh the argueing, in my opinion no one won.
Even though its the team im on and all that 'won', a battle cannot be won nore lost using only one player.
I would really like to see this happen still, if thats possible...
Obviously FT gave up bc theres no sign of them, yes both loki and gromit should have followed there own rules.
But really who gives a pigs *** its just a game basically, imo the rules shouldnt be taken so seriously and both teams should just battle it out no matter how late teh entrys are in, but thats only if they both still wanna.

But hey thats just my opinion dont jump on me for it.

Rules are their to be followed tho storm. We gave enough warning, and we can't wait around forever until teams are ready. Whats the point of having a SOTW deadline then if apparently people should be able to submit whenever?

Deadlines are there to make things efficient. The deadline was set, the rules were made and they weren't followed. Simple.

I think we should stop this now as I have already awarded the win to Flawless and anymore arguing isn't gonna change anything.

So they have an extra point, who gives about the points anyways. This was more of a fun challenge rather than a serious one. Fun as in...lets have some fun! The winner didn't matter, making the sigs and voting was the "fun part". Guess we can't do that now. Guess I as admin should follow my own rules...wait, nevermind.

As for this thread its closed. Hopefully since ours was made the other teams will feel comfortable with doing a FUN voting on them some time in the future.
