for this tut i don't want to put any screen shots up chuse they take to long to upload and stuff lol.

1.ok this is just a edited kind of version of the light saber tut lets started by opening a new image in gimp set the fg to black. 2.now grab your ellipse tool hold down shift and make a circle.3.next we get our paint brush select your largest circle set your fg to white and colour your ball white. then merge all your layers 4.right we now have our fire ball now its time to make it look good add some colours and stuff right?? now we right click>selection>none. 5.now we go to our layers dialog click on the layer and duplicate it 2 times. 6.next we go filters>blur>guasion blur set it to 5 make sure your first layer is selected then click ok. 7.now do the same to the other 2 layers for the next layer its a blur of 20 then for the last layer a blur of 40 and where done our main effect. 8.next we go to layer>colours>colour balance make it look perfect. then now we have a ball with a white core so we don't want that white do we? 9.lol ok so we get our bucket tool (shift+B) and fill the ball with a colour that you like. 10.once you do that go filters>repeat guasion blur and you have a fire ball made. 11. now get your smudge tool set it to your largest fuzzy circle and smudge till your hearts content now we have a fire ball if you have any qs just ask me and ill help to the best of my ability http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/547/firball1yq0.png
