Font Packs

Tomoro not now :P i am going to get together all my fonts and some more and put them n a file for a font pack. i think it wud be good have an easy accesible pile of fonts isntead of singly dl from dafont etc

if any1 else would like to as well, go right ahead.

but for now i shall sleep. gnite :P

well u put them into a zip file and then go to somewhere like www.filefront.com or another hosting site and upload them :P

im going to do my fonts, brushes and renders. although i have 1000s renders and its like 450mb or sumfin :P

yeah when I tried to download it it acted like the page was loading really slow and then my web page just froze.

it really depends on how big the file is, if you want something over 100mb you need to do some searching, lol, I tried to find one and none where as good as those sites you listed :(

I have recently started to play with text on my sigs, Has anyone managed to upload any font packs ? Or does anyone know of a site that has free font packs? Downloading them one by one is starting to get painful ! hehe

you will most likely need winrar, go to www.download.com and search for it, its free...

i have downloaded the winrar 2.6 or was that 3.6
and still dont know how to install it, i download the fonts at dafont.com btw

I will assume you installed winrar because you just double click the install file and follow on screen instructions..

the font pack will be zipped (which is why it looks like books or a folder with a zipper) right click on it and select extract here (or extract, and choose the place of your preferance)

then when they are extracted (I believe they should be in a folder) open the folder and select all then copy

open your windows font folder, it should be in a place like this->
C:\WINDOWS\Fonts

now paste them into that folder, windows will then install them and you can use the fonts you install everywhere :)

dafont does tell you how to install the fonts, btw
