I just found this browser based football game where you create players and sign them to teams and watch as they play through the season. You can customize lots of stuff on your player too.
Even if you aren't interested, please click the link as I will get credit for referring you to the site. All you would have to do then is log on a few times and change a couple settings or post in the forums once and the game will give credit to the referral. Thanks!
