Aw, you're late. Gamespot declared Super Mario Galaxy as the Game of the Year already. Well, for me its Crysis!

Call of Duty 4 is not a WW2 game. It's game mechanics are actually very good seeing as how Infinity Ward made the game this time (so what was crappy about the mechanics?). The other games were made by a different studio. Have you actually played COD4 or are you just passing judgment based on the past games? As far as Portal being the game of the year........I doubt it. Portal was a game bundled with like five others. They couldn't even sell it by itself so how can it get game of the year? Based on copies sold it would be Halo 3 and as far as campaign and multi-player I would go with COD4. GOTY RPG would be Mass Effect. I believe Assassins Creed was a killer game also with an intriguing storyline. There are a lot of options for GOTY this year. Guess we will have to wait and see which it will be.

P.S. Last time I checked my fiance said I was far from gay. :D

Well its hard for Crysis to be the all in all game of the year becuase it is only on pc, unlike cod4 which is on both the pc and 360 and it kicks serious butt from its multi player to the single player! So I would pick COD 4 but BIOSHOCK was an amazing game and Mass Effect was super amazing aswell!

i can see why Super Mario Galaxy won. if you ever played it, you can easily tell that it was an extremely hard game to engineer. with all the weird gravity effects and absolutely no bugs or glitches!!!! that and it is really fun and challenging. it is easy to just beat the game, but to get all the stars and beat it 100% is really really hard. i own it so i would know.
