Im using Adobe Photoshop Cs3 Extended , running on vista . I recently started making signatures for forums , emails and such but my issue that I came here to explain to you guys is concerning animating gifs.

I premade a signature that took up a lot of my time .

I then decided to use virtual dub to convert my video clip into . Avi so I could import it into Cs3 and I done so and loaded the frames up in the animation window , everything was going well up untill the point I saved it for Web and devices.

I had the frames set so it would play back on a 130 by 70 in a 600 by 100 which is the size of my sig / image.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :P

so what exactly is the problem?

I'll guess that for some reason it isn't animated?

I would make sure that you have the animation window open on your sig (window->animation)

then click on each frame in your sig and make sure that the video is moving (in other words each frame is different)

wait! you did copy and paste the frames from the video animation window into the sig's animation window right?

to do that (if you didn't) go to the video's animation window and next to the x on the upper right side is an arrow that will bring up a menu when clicked on, then go to select all frames, copy frames, then click on your sig and go to it's animation window and paste frames. it will ask how you want to do it, you want replace frames

when you save it for web and devices, there is a preview button down at the bottom that looks like a globe, use it! then when it loads and if it looks good, you can just save it from the preview by right clicking on it

hope that helps, if not we are here for ya :)
