gimp issue..

Im using the beginner create sig in gimp tutorial in this forum...when it gets to the part where It says hit ctrl-I then ctrl-K.....What exactly is ctrl-k..I can see that ctrl -I is invert,but what is ctrl-k..Reason I ask is cause it doesnt work for me and im stuck at this part of tutorial.
