GIMP i need help

When i download GIMP of the website and try and open it, it says that GIMP unexpectedly quit. This happens every-time i try to open it. I am downloading the mac version.

go to download.com and search for it.. now GIMP 2 is available.. hope its much help to u.. if not i will give you a direct link to download it.. :D
