GIMP text fonts

Hey sigbar, does anyone know where I can get good GIMP text fonts? thanks.

Thanks a lot, do I have to install on GIMP? or are they automatically put on GIMP?

man use the search button before asking
this issue has been discussed many times
you dont install fonts on photoshop or gimp
u install them to ur OS
and every application capable of using fonts installed on OS can use them

download the fonts, unzip and put the true type font (ttf) files in C:\Windows\Fonts

well i am not sure how it works on windows because i use a mac you should be able to instal the font. If you can't this is what you do, open GIMP-->go to file-->preferences---> folders-->fonts--> click on paper icon to create a new folder. Now all you have to do is put all your fonts you downloaded into that folder and they will be on GIMP. You have to restart GIMP every time you instal a new font, so that it comes up.
