well if ya wanna try something really "new/different" you can try asian music(as in modern asian music). You don't really have to understand to like it i guess.... for k-pop theres DBSK, big-bang, Super junior, rain,etc
For mando-pop theres fahrenheit, jay chou, S.H.E, F4, tank, etc
i don't realli know much j-pop. most people tend to not listen to asian music because they don't understand anything...but just give it a chance...
