Any Guitar Hero III fanatics?

Wondering if there were any other Guitar Hero fanatics on the forums.
Possibly if any1 has gh3 for pc so we can face each other online which would be sick (there never seems to be more then 20 people on gh3 online for pc which sucks)
So if you like the game, are stuck on a difficuly/song or want to share some of your gh1-3 stories plz reply!

P.S. Can any1 here play ttaf expert? or no1 some1 that can?

Im not really a fanatic and i mnot really good, i can only play hard. But sorry, I dowloaded the game illegally :twisted: so there is no online...hehehe

yo if you want i can show you how to get online illegaly, i play my wc3 online illegaly to, i would done the same for gh3 but then i wouldnt have a guitar
also lol if you play hard you should be able to play expert not much of a diff imo

I like Guitar Hero but I like Rock Band better... although I can't wait for Guitar Hero 4!

no offence but i find guitar hero 3 complatly r#$es rock band up the a$#. The guitar playing on it is jst so repedetive with no really challenging songs. But on the plus sign rock band is fun in partys and the drums are cool and some of there songs are better such as that one by flyleaf (guitar hero got the crappy one from there band) but all in all guitar hero just has better game play and is challenging. I mean like Through The fire and the flames is so much fun to learn and seems to be impossible when you start

i cant get through the intro. kills me every time. other than that i can hit around 85% on the rest of the song but the intro just owns me.

Ya i spent a while learning to play 95% spent on the beginning 5% for the rest which is pretty easy.
Advice for the beginning go online and find the tab thingy its only a short sequence that is repeating learn it from practice going slow and work your way up when i was practicing it at one point i had it so memorized i could do it looking the other way for about half the intro but ya kudos to you for getting the rest just learn the beginning and ull be one of the only 500 people in the world that can get over 80% on it :P

oh yea ive practiced it alot. i could do the exact same thing on slower with one finger doing hammer ons but i cant pull my fingers off it fast enough on full speed. it just seems impossible to me on full speed almost. idk someday i will get it.

well you have 2 choices either
a. the old elastic band trick, but this requires you to strum every note which cant be akward at some parts suchs as when it goes green blank blue cause ur used to it going in a row
b. start from the ground up. The way i did it, was put on hyperspeed 5x (so the notes are spread out) then went on slowest mode on practice and work your way up but dont go any faster till you get 100% should only take about 2-3 days then and then there ya go u can do the intro.
oh by the way have you beaten lou on expert? (i still havent he gives me a bloody migrain)

well alright ive tried so much and i have the thing memorized but im unable to do the trick with two hands and all hammer ons and the other way i cant seem to pull off quick enough while holding down the damn green button through the intro. i can hit around 70% but still not good enough to pass it.

and i havent been able to beat lou though i only got lucky beating raining blood one time. lou just messes me up because he just never goes down.

btw whats some of you favorite songs on the game besides dragonforce?

I have Guitar Hero 3 for PC, but my guitar broke...

The strum bar is broken, everytime I hit it once it strums really quickly and can't stop.. :cry:

the metal is one of my favorites. dope - nothing for me here is a really fun one to play. always love the solo in cult of personality. and inflames and prototype are both pretty cool. idk i tend to play a bunch of different ones.

so have you actually beaten through the fire and flames or no?

Tenacious D is a great/funny band imo i have all there songs/movie/shows
2 great songs from them are city hall, and *beep* her gently (use ur imagination)

i actually just got guitar hero aerosmith tonight. and im throgh the third set so far and i will say some of the songs are pretty fun. some of them are quite annoying however. but still not too bad so far.

im not quite good, i can handle medium but hard is too hard :)

if talking about real guitars then yes also, i have an acoustic, 2000$ base (my dads from his rock'n'roll days) and and getting a standard electric guitar this summer

On Expert, I am Stuck on Slash's Guitar battle
