i dont see why people dont like halo 3 that much. i have played CoD4 plenty of times at my friend's house who owns a ps3. i have also played halo 3 multiple times even though i dont have an xbox 360. i really like making maps on halo 3, and now that rats nest is out, i have had a lot of fun at my cousin's house making a race track lol. i am almost contemplating selling my Wii for an xbox 360. i would except for super smash bros. and the fact that mario kart is coming out soon. i have played mario kart and super smash bros. since the beginning. i have also played halo since the beginning. in fact, i almost peed my pants when it came to the flood part because no one had ever told me about the flood and i had absolutely no freakin idea that that was coming. but seriously, why do people diss halo 3 so much? i admit, that without forge it would suck, and i wish that it was free for online play too. i think that a lot of people would play halo 3 more if online was free.

I have Halo 3, cod4, RB6 Vegas2 and Now a days all I play is RB6, To me Halo is a real childish game, really easy to beat and not very long. I like Halo 3 but its not worth my time unless I have alot of friends on. I like it when you can have a guest with you and play but then again if my friends are over wanting to play it would be Rb6 over halo and when I didnt have rb6 then all my friends wanted to play was cod4 since these games are not as easy and more realistic.

Halo has a cult following, I stayed up until midnight in line for halo 2 but how much more could they do for 3, I wasn't impressed. I loved the graphics specially with my HDTV. My son Played and beat halo 3 within a week and he even felt halo 2 was alot better. I am not a Halo hater, I cant wait until Halo Wars comes out, But I was not happy with halo 3 thats all.

side note my Co worker just got xbox live and talked me into playing Halo 3 the other night, its been over 6 months since I last played and I have played alot of other shooters and I came back and still owned lol I was the high player on my team everytime lol.

I think the fact is that Halo 3 had such a large hype that once it came out, people who didn't have a 360 had envy, but not a desire for it, and people who had waited forever for it got it, beat it, and sat there going, "Huh? It's done?" It's like my reaction to seeing the end credits of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It strikes you hard when something you really like ends. However, the thing I see is that Halo 3 is now being downed by people who have played it entirely and were bored, or people who have never played it. I have played it and do not own a 360 yet. I want it, I don't want the Legendary edition because it's pointless, but I want Halo 3 because the game provides an overall awesome time for both SP and LIVE. I think people think it's overrated because it WAS, but not IS. The game received too much clout, that's all. People believe it to be overrated but forget the quality of the game. Good storyline, graphics, etc. The game provides what it should.

i played halo 2 and 3 and in my opnion halo 2 was better. i get bored playing halo 3, mabey because its like a childish shooter, you just run and gun, just run arround and shoot people, there are no tactics. that's what RTS games the best, you have to think, you have to be smart, all you have to do for halo is learn how to aim while running and press RT

i dont like halo because it is an easy killing game and u die so easy and it has absolutely now strategy to it. Another reason is it can be very annoying getting stuck by grenades so easily

Halo 3's Multiplayer aspect on Xbox Live is what everyone plays it for. It requires a substantial amounts of skill to play it competitivly just like every other games out there. Halo3 will take a total different kind of skill that Gears of War and Call of Duty 4 will. Even other games such as World of Warcraft require skill when played competivitly. If halo or any other game required no skill then there would not be dominant figures in halo(Final boss) Call of Duty(FeaR) Just to name a few.

Halo is a great game seris so don't start gettting ****ed at it because of a simple 'flaw' in making it.

Here's how they each got rated...

Halo 1 beats them all. period.

Halo 2 the second best good but graphics could be better and elite's hitboxes. Campaign wasn't great but people strived to play LIVE.

Halo 3 the worst *so far* it graphics are improved, campaign is good but not even decent compared to halo 1. Also this game has the best LIVE features EVER.

So that's what i think i can see how people see Halo 3 childish but once they play halo 1 they'll all be like HOLY CRAP I PEED MY PANTS WHEN THE FLOOD CAME OUT! Really.

So don't diss it.

Heck, you call 400,000 dying down? I have 3 friends that only own GoW2 and H3 and they've already come running back to H3. Give it another try you won't regret it.
