I broke both of my arms and messed up my leg in a head on dirtbike accident. I was life flighted to the best Hospital in the North West and stayed there for 2 weeks. I ended back in the hospital with a Horrible Blood clot in my right leg that could have broke loose and killed me. That was worse pain than the all of the breaks put together lol. I now have 3 metal plates in my arms and a Skin Graph and 2 screws in my left LOL.

My wife had to take care of my "dirty Busniness" she is a great women.

Here are some pictures, they are sorta graphic, so if offended I am sorry.

woa, jeff that must have been a nasty accident. Ive never broke a bone, so i dont know how painfull it is.

One of my mates had a bad accident in motocross and shattered his pelvis, but that was a good few years ago, he's back fully fit again now, but he cant afford to race anymore, shame though, cos he was a top rider.

How long ago was the accident jeff, i hope all is well now mate.

Woah Jeff!!!
How on earth did you get through that, jeez!

For just life, My Wife is really good to me and took good care of me and our 3 children at the time. The accident happened exactly 2 years ago on April 30th, I ended up off work for 6 months even though I was told I would be out for a year.
When the accident Happened I had just turned 2nd bracket in my Union job and just got my Benefits and everything so medical was paid for and I actually got disability checks every week so that kept us a float. The only thing we got billed for was for life flight which was an overall $10,000 bill that our insurance only covered $9000 so we would have to pay $1000 out of pocket but Life flight wrote it off so we didn't have to pay.

My bike did get really messed up but I was able to trade it for a really nice shotgun worth close to $1000.oo so it was a great deal.

As for my arms today, they are doing good, I wont say great becuase I dont have full motion out of them but for the most part I can do everything I did before.

As for the pain I had from the accident I dont really remember any thing from the accident, My wife told me I was just moaning over and over again and in just so much pain and the medics couldn't give me any more pain meds so they gave me a shot to not remember anything, which I don't I only remember waking up in the hospital 3 days later.

Basketball tends to do a number on the old body, I torn my Legamits/over stretched in my right ankle when I touched the side of my foot to the ground running sideways guarding a person. That was painful lol, then The doctor casted it wrong and messed it up worse becuase it healed wrong lol.

I have come down on it side ways and straight down and OOOOOOOOOOOO I hate it, it creeps me out just thinking about it as I type this. I cant watch people do it either OOOOOOO I know the pain.
