help again lol

Haha, me again.
This time im on the advanced tutorial for gimp by newbie.
Im running into trouble when i have to duplicate the background 4 times so that each background will have a different brush/color. I got that, all the backgrounds are filled with colors and design, but for some reason, i cant get them to show up at the same time. I click view on all of them, or only two of them, but the most i can get is the render and 1 background at the same time.

Any ideas?

ok once u get everything ready, look at the toolbox were u see the layers,channels,paths toolbox.

u should see a drop down menu near the top it looks like this:

and just mess with the different options until u can see through it (recommend lighten only or maybe overlay)

if its too bright u can also mess with the opacity
