Help!!

I opened up photoshop like a normally do and wanted to start
a new signature..I go to make a canvas and its on clipboard so
I change it to custom and the size I want it to be...I do the
back ground etc...and when I want to do the txt it wont show up
like theres a dot not the usual cursor..so I closed it down and
started it up again still the same..can anyone tell me what has
happened? I didnt do anything to change anything..thanks in
advance..

This has to do with the resolution settings. Make sure it's set at 75. If it still doesn't work for you, just make the text size really big. Mine does that sometimes but it will come and go for some reason, even when it's set to the correct resolution.
