Light effects

Hay,

I am a sig maker too and I was really wondering how oishi made the light effects in my sig (See my upper sig)
I really want to be able to do that too, It makes the sigs look very nice.
Can someone please tell me how to make
1. The little, bright light rays
and
2. The less bright, but bigger light effects the you see on the left side of her head on her hair

well he did a radial gradient map(the light),the rays are c4ds & the dots look like a white soft circle brush

but i dont get what cinema 4d's are =S and how to use them...

there are c4ds they are used to add dpth in a sig ,there are lot in planet renders under abstract renders, you are suppose to set them on screen/dodge/lighten for the best results
