Limitation on requests?

I just got this idea from a member who is on a mission to request more than 3 signatures in 15 minutes. But I think there should be a limitation on requests, and there are a couple of ways to deal with this.

1) You have to get another 10 or more posts after you make a request. For example, if you have 13 posts when you make a request, you will have to have 23 or more posts before you can make another request.

2) You can only make 1 request per day or week, whichever seems easier for sig makers and requesters, so there is not a flood of requests from the same members.

Iv been thinking about this myself, you can last, imo, for one month on one sig, so I was thinking about 1 sig every 1 week.

i love that idea about 1 sig per week but i would say day :) but the posts thing dont really bother me no more it happens to often to do sumthing about

Yeah the post idea was a bit over the top, I agree that it should be restricted to one request a day or week.

A good suggestion, any ideas how to go about this though, without making too much work for people remembering when they had their last one made?

Well if it was once per day, wouldn't most members remember when they had requested one?

I just thought of an idea, but it's a bit to much, and it's probably not possible. But I was thinking, that once someone has requested a sig, and collected it, they would somehow not be able to gain access to that particular section of the forum, I mean the request section. Although that does seem unfair, because they might not be online to collect it, so that wouldn't work. We'll have to think of a way that still allows requesters to access the forum, but they can't post in any threads if you know what I mean.

how about if they request before one week is finished, they have to get 20 posts extra.And on top of that they have to wait till the whole week finishes.That should make them pay attention.Or it's too harsh lol

i think that there can be more than 1 request every week also

if there are more than 1 request a day from a certain person there will say wait until tomo to make i think munkys right and if someone does make mutilple requests i personally dont have a problem filling out thease.

the only 1 rule i say is only 1 request at once when the other is finshed u can then make another request

What if they keep making new accounts with different emails to keep requesting?

Other than that, I think it should be one request per day.

Oh, and can we not trace the last sig made from the [Completed] Signature section? If so, that could be our source for getting the last sig made. Or we could just use the "search" button :D

for example

request one goes in gets finished next day.

request two goes in on the day that the other one is finished
