I have only been to one concert my whole life, but it was fun...even if the band was a bit on the old side and the lead singer had to use an oxygen tank. I saw Foreigner in Oklahoma City and they were actually sounding really good. I liked it and I had a good time at least, that's all that matters to me.

Glastonbury 1992 most excellent we had a trek of approx a mile and a half from our car and tent to the festival entrance all I can say is 1 bloody amazing experience.

Also Knebworth Park got in free both times :wink: 1 through an open gate and the other over the fence

The concerts at Knebworth were Genesis and the other 1 was a very mixed line up remember paul macartney who I have to say had the whole place rocking what an entertainer he was that night, pink floyd who where AWESOME there were others but the names escape me I was a wee bit intoxicated :lol:

My friend's bands concerts, too many to count, plus legions of local bands

Flogging Molly in Boston- They played with so much energy, the most intense things I've ever seen. Great stage presence, the pit was huge, and they played for about 3 hours. Every song I wanted to hear they played!

Against me!- Saw them before they went mainstream *sellouts*, amazing show. They only played for about 45 minutes and I didn't know every song but I knew they were gonna be awesome and they were! I bet more than half the kids there didn't know who they were but by the end the whole place was a pit. awesome show.

Streetlight Manifesto- OMG!! Second best live show I've ever seen. They flow from one song to another like White Snake without pause. They mix songs together to give you an excellent experience you can only get at one of their live shows. Plus the Ska Pits o' Doom are always fun. Think a poor mans wall of death. Of course this only happens in Hartford for all I know.

Alkaline Trio- Played a whole album for us. Great show, some of the nicest guys too. Shook hands with everyone after the show. Matt Skiba is a god. AWESOME live show, except for all the hot topic kids.

Reel Big Fish- Well im pretty sure they were all wasted, but still managed to put on one of most energy filled concerts live been to. Played every song you would wanna hear live, i don't think they wanted to leave the stage lol. Plus between songs they would tell jokes and play to the crowd. go see them!

Beastie Boys- Saw them on a trip to Montreal, Canada at one the sketchiest venues ever. One of the most talented bands I think still playing today. From some of the best hardcore/punk live heard, to awesome old school hip-hop, and now excellent jazz. They are the best stage presence ive seen, very funny, excellent with crowds. if you've seen Awesome I Fu**ing shot that! then you know how awesome they are live.

Badfish- Like Sublime reincarnated in their hay-day playing shows in the LBC. Such good skill and what awesome guys. You can tell that they aren't covering sublime for the attention, they love to play and love their fans. Played for like 2 hours almost straight. Every song sounded like Sublime, awesome awesome live show.

Children of Bodom-One of the best metal bands out there now, they have such amazing skill. With live drum solos that youll actually want to sit through. The live show is very well produced, but they kinda reminded me of Metllica in their Alcholica days. Every band member is amazing live, not a lot of screw ups and they are excellent with crowds.Insane guitar solos and it seems they play longer than TOOL lol. The pits are always amazing. Seen them twice and only dared go in the pit the first time i saw them.

Bands I want to see live

Gogol Bordello- IF you've seen a video of them live you know how much energy they bring to the stage. With Eugene surfing the crowd on his giant drum and seeming to lose control of his body this would be one show that no one could top.

Rage Against the Machine- Does it need explanation?!

Frank Zappa- The mans a genius (rip Frank)

The Clash- Joe Strummer is the quint essential rock god. and The Clash as you probably know are one of the best bands ever! (rip Joe)
